PRONGHORN ANTELOPE
Pronghorn are a native game animal to Texas and New Mexico, both states offer some of the finest pronghorn hunts in the US. Our prairies and flats can be decorated by large herds of “Speedgoats” and can offer a challenging hunt to the sportsman. The Western counties of Texas have some of the largest Pronghorn in the U.S., with several goats meeting the official B&C minimum. HWO offers pronghorn hunts on several different private ranches in West Texas and New Mexico. The Texas season is generally the first week of October which can offer the ability to add other species, while the New Mexico seasons will be in mid to late August.
